Miss Africa Netherlands is a competition designed to showcase positive people, positive images, and beautiful faces through pageantry in The Netherlands. Their first winner, Nigerian Law student Anthonia Raymond, has since become a fashion designer with her own outfit Ms. Ray Couture which specialises in African designs, and displayed her creations at Africa Fashion Week 2013 held in New York.
Now in its fourth year, Miss Africa Netherlands is currently seeking potential winners to compete in their 2017 edition. Contestants must be resident in The Netherlands, fluent in English, and between the ages of 17 and 25. In addition, they must be able to display talent as well as have a platform - a cause the contestant is willing to devote her time to whilst raising its awareness.
